.::Beginning::.
The Alligators Rugby Club was founded in 1995. The team was initially formed in 1990/91 as the Malta University Rugby Team, triggering off the first edition of the Malta Rugby League that same year. As many of the founding members graduated from University, it was decided to rename the team in 1995. The team was initially sponsored by the Alley Bar in Paceville, thereby resulting in a new name - Alleygators RFC. The Alleygators dominatd the proceedings in their first year, and became the first Maltese team to win the league.
In April 2004, the club elected for the first time an executive committee elected for the first. Alligators RFC is the first club ever to have developed an action plan dealing with youth player recruitment.
.::Today::.

The team is made up of experienced as well as new players, who have only just been introduced to the sport. The launching of women's team is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in the sport to give it a go. The players are to begin their pre-season training shortly, and shall be covering all aspects of the game to ensure a healthy season with effective results.
