A Welcome note by the Director of the Youth Program…

Birkirkara Alligators Rugby F.C has embraced the Birkirkara locality that has adopted them in many ways, but the most rewarding way is in its Youth Program. The Club boasts of the first and oldest rugby youth nursery on the island.

The Mini-Gators program provides a pathway to rugby for all ages, starting from as young as 6 years of age all the way up to U18s. The nursery is proud of it principles, and encourages commitment, discipline and fun through sport. We are a democratic club and everyone who trains will play. Whilst providing suitable challenges to our young players, and driving them to achieve as much as they can, we pay special attention to ensure that slow learners, or late developers, get their chance and their reward, when they are ready.

We pay particular attention to character building, development of a positive attitude and good moral fiber. This is done by recruiting first class coaches, who are qualified, dedicated and knowledgeable.

Birkirkara Alligators Rugby F.C promote the game of Rugby to all state schools in the Birkirkara area (mainly St. Theresa College), and with the help of ‘Rugby Champion’ PE Teachers at the schools, we strive to provide access to all children to the game of Rugby.

Birkirkara Alligators Rugby F.C have achieved a major coup by signing a Secondary School Tournament contract with St. Aloysius College, Birkirkara, to deliver in-school and after-school rugby training, twice a week at the College grounds.
